reflective analysis

Can anyone tell me if a personal development journal is the same as a reflective analysis of practice please?

Just had a response from my assessor and apparently the reflective analysis is in more depth, breaking things down to explain whats involved??? My brain is a blank, I don't know where to start.

a dev journal is you writing about you whereas reflection is a theoretical perspective which you need to apply to your work and practice, see kolb or gibbs. then apply then apply their reflective cycle to your work

Thanks, have read Gibbs cycle, not sure what I'm supposed to apply it to though, something like a specific activity I've done with the children or something business related like completing paperwork or communication with parents. Or I could be totally off track and it could be something completely different lol!!!!
