Lauralee

I'm doing my course with CACHE too and am at college one afternoon a week from 1 til 6pm. We do 2 hours of Education and 2 hours of H&S and then 1 hour of portfolio work although so far I have not had much back to reference.

Book wise we are using the Miranda Walker and Penny Tassoni books but have also been told that Linda Pounds 'How children Learn' will also be useful.

Also we have 20 hours of in placement assessment allotted and my assessor is coming to my school to do an orientation visit on the 4th Nov which is our first day back after half term. Even though she is only planning a flying visit, I am going to start a project of my own with the kids that morning so I am hoping that I can pick up some additional observations and really make the most of her first visit.....Knowing my luck, she will be in and out before I have managed to get all the kids sat on the carpet ready to hear about our birdwatching project.
