for 1.1 i wrote about (long one this)

• EYFS (guidance and statutory), Safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare, Suitable people, Organisation, Documentation, principles into practice card’s, The 6 areas
• The Early Childhood services in my area - West Sussex County Council- Provide free entitlement of 15 hours a week, 38 weeks of the year or this can be stretched over more weeks.
• The Early Childhood services West Sussex County Council- This has been put into place to improve the outcomes for children in West Sussex, this is to support and challenge practitioners to improve the quality of the care in their setting (Early Years) (ACQUIRE)

This was approx 4 pages long.

for 1.2 i wrote about the educational approaches

• Reggio Emilia
• The way that Reggio Emilia’s approach links to the EYFS
• High/scope
• The way that High/scope approach links to the EYFS
• Montessori
• The way that the Montessori approach links to the EYFS
• Rudolph Steiner
• The way that Steiners approach links to the EYFS
• Common core (Victoria Climbie)

For 1.3 i wrote about the EYFS four main themes

• A Unique Child
• Positive Relationships
• Enabling Environment
• Learning and Development
