this links to cyp core 3.1 different types of transitions u need to write different types of transistion eg child coming to a new setting and that they might experience a sense of loss from another setting, from their friends, feel disorientated, withdraw, be depressed, regress with what they do, have separation anxiety, see changes in their behaviour, not have any motivation.

practitioners would support them by providing activties, explain what's going on, discuss what's happening, share information, be positive, get in touch with others who can help support the child and professional practice etc. listen to what they say and be truthful, reassuring.

explaining bereavement and some words to use could be gone to heaven, sleep, gone away, turned to earth, be in memories not around you, have routines so children feel reassued, have visits to new places to get used to them.
