I go to college once a week for an hour. My assessor comes to my placement for obs. And I would like to point out that we get zero help and learn NOTHING in 1 hour sessions. By the time we exchange pleasantries, it's time to go home. Frustrating is not the word. :)

Hi, I am at 'placement' for two days a week at spend the rest of the week at college. I change placements just over a term and a half and I have an assessor who comes to visit me twice in each placement usually four weeks apart I guess. x

Hi, I work full-time in a private nursery, I am doing the Diploma through a training company and an assessor visits me once a month to carry out observations, collect work and set more for the next month.

Hi - I work for a specialist childminder and have an assessor who comes to see me once a month for observations and another assessor who sets and reviews my written assignments.
I do wish I had gone to college as I am finding I need a bit of extra help with the written bits and I am very glad I found this site to help.

Default Assesor or Tutor?

Hi

I'm doing mine through a college have to go once a week in evening hand in work and tell them what else I'm working on not had much direction just left to get on with it have had 3 'taught' lessons total for the more difficult units these lasted about half hour each and just seemed to be told which questions we needed to answer not any information on what the answers were. Had one assesment at placement think the plan is to have 2 more before I finish my course. It's an assessor that I see although I think she is a qualified teacher but not sure what in.

Hope this helps.
