We provide training for the children's workforce sector, mainly in Playwork and Child Care, Learning & Development. As a result of cuts in various public funding streams including Train to Gain, Enhancement Fund, Children's Workforce Development Council and local authority training bursaries, we have massively reduced training programmes and have a long waiting list of people wanting training whom we can't enrol as there is no funding for them. One member of staff has already been made redundant, all remaining staff have taken pay and / or hours cuts, and there is a serious risk of the organisation folding.
