Hi is there anybody out there that could help me I am struggling with 402 K4S779. It is the statutory and regulatory requirements covering safeguarding and protecting children in your setting or service. I would be grateful for any help or advice.

Hi i think you are on the right path, but dont forget care commission, sssc registration and child protection policy and training. you could also add enhanced discosures. Hope this helps

svq not nvq

Hi Shazy
You seem to be the only other svq not nvq. I wonder if there is a huge difference in the actual qualification. Sometimes i dont recognise the pc's the others describe. Am i right?

I don't think there is any diffrence in qualification as i have the NVQ 3 and my colleague has the SVQ 3 and at the end of the day they are the same. I'm not sure about the PCs as i have not really looked at them yet.
