Help SOS so confussed! help please!

After my last tutorial our tutor told us that 303 and 304 were learner led and that we could cross reference the pc's ourselves....ok but I thought the assessors were supposed to do it! and then to top off my confussion my college who finished her nvq 3 last year ( via another college) told me that her tutor told them that if they did their own pc's that it rendered the whole portfolio nil and void! I am still waiting for any visits to my setting and started the course in Oct! monthly tutorials, and so am trying to do as much written evidence (reflective accounts ect) as possible....any advice would be much appreciated!

I am not learning through college, I have to do it myself, then my assessor comes out and does a DOR for me and varifies my work. I always cross reference myself and then my assessor varifies it. I would say that you should go by what your assessor says and not your collegues as every college seems to do it differently, hope this helps

thanks for the reply, its odd, I think the standards of teaching nvq are so varied! I am hopefully supposed to get a visit from the assessor soon, supposed to have betweeen 3-5 visits between now and july! thats why I am doing so much written work! :)
