Default NVQ3 CCLD Books

Can anyone please let me know which books they have found most useful for doing the above course. Apart from the mandatory 5 units, I have opted to do 306, 307, 308 and 337 as my optional units. I would be grateful.

our tutor told us to get the NVQ level 3 text book "children's care, learning and development" by penny tassoni, kath bulman and kate beith, from heinemann publishers. for my optional units i drew on experience as a childminder, being a mum and info from web sites

hi

the book can be useful but it doesnt give you everything that they want you to know.

for most of my course i use the internet to give me ideas on what to write. i do not copy i just write down different ideas and try to put an answer together covering all the points.

:) hope this helps xx

Help SOS

Thanks for your help on this. You mentioned that you use the web to help with answers - are there specific sites you've found helpful, or do you just do, say, search online with the question? I've had a go at this last one and haven't found it very helpful. I would really appreciate some pointers on this. I'm struggling to answer K3C160 in Unit 301 at the moment, especially the bit about Genders
