Hindu - no beef as a cow is sacred
Muslim - no pork as advocated in the Qua'an and meat must come from Muslim butchers
Christian - ??? I don't think there are any restrictions
Jewish - meat bought from Jewish butcher (Kosher) and meat cannot be eaten with dairy produce.
Vegetarian - no meat or meat products (e.g. gelatine)
Vegan - no animal derived ingredients including dairy products and eggs:friedegg:
Diabetic - avoid eating too much sugary food as it affects insulin levels. Eat small meals regularly. Don't eat and drink at the same time.
Coeliac - no gluten - wheat based foods or rye or barley
Rastafarian - cooked food but served as raw as possible so most are vegetarians. Definitely no shellfood or pig.

Hope that gets you started.

Default k2d81

k2d61 children can be involed in making choices in their envirnoment by

0- 3years by choosing toys that are put out , selecting what pen, pencil or crayon they want to use .where they want to play and with what materials they can play with.

4-7 years making or planning a display, choosing how they want to help them, making decissions like what to grow in the garden, choosing books from the library, selecting what materials they would like to use while making something, selecting what activities they would like to do.

8-12 years create healthy menus for snack and drinks, making displays of their own, help decide on circumlium ,design areas like reading corners, set up own activities.

13-16 years maintain areas like pain t walls ,and keep areas clean, otherwsie the rest is the same as 8-12 years
