My local authority produces a VSSR (Validated Setting Self Review) 3 times a year. The questions give setting prompts to reflect on their practice and then say how they could improve the practice. I give all my staff a copy to look at and then we meet up and answer all the questions. Our Link Advisory Consultant then spends a morning going through it with me and suggesting other ways we could improve. The questions are linked to the SEF so that you can link it in.

I wrote about how this works in my setting and showed my assessor a copy of the last VSSR

Hope that helps
