Could you make some gingerbread Christmas shapes and get them to decorate them? If you put a hole in them then they could hang them on their tree.

A calendar for next year.

A reindeer piucture using their hand/feet prints.

Paper plate snowmen are nice...

2 plates stuck together, then use cutting skills to make scarf, eyes, carrot nose etc...

It covers all areas of learning and development as well...

Psed - sharing & taking turns with resources;

Cll - talking about snowmen and reading 'The Snowman' book to introduce the activity;

Psr&n - discussing shapes, sizes, number of buttons, eyes etc;

Kuw - learn about freezing & melting by putting ice in the water tray with warm water;

Pd - fine motor skills cutting, gluing etc;

Cd - getting creative with the craft resources; giving children a choice of colours to use; mixing paints etc...

Enjoy!
