Disagreement with other members of staff

Since Working in the nursery i have had one disagreement with another member of staff!
This was a shock to myself as i had always felt that i had a good releationship with all the other members of staff within the nursery, but in order to not course conflict in front of the children it was delt with by the nursery manager in her office away from the children.

In order to resolve the situation we spoke about the disagreement i was respectful of the other member of staff by acknowledging there point of view and avoided personalising the argument, talking the problem through with the help of our manager and listen to them and understood what they felt the problem was cause by.

The argument was cause through miscommunication and we both decided to stop this from happening again. we will talk through any problems before they get too heated as poor communication can cause problems and upset when it simply can be avoided by checking with someone.

Is this a reflective account? As if it was you could write an evaluation to support it with what the procedure is suggested in the candidate handbook. This is to let the staff involved staff members resolve it themselves in a quiet place, such as the office.

If you were to say something like you feel the discussion with the said staff member and your manager helped the situation, however I am now aware that the appropriate way to handle this situation would have been to let us have time in a quiet place to talk though and solve our disagreement.
