Illness Policy exclusion: who do you reference ?

What are your exclusion periods for illness and who do you reference as the source of that information / recommendation ?

Do you have links with your local GP Surgery, Health care / PCT who keep you up to date with changes, new information & guidance or do you have another body / organisation that advises ?

If anyone has a link to an online resource that they use - please feel free to post
