Default Looking for a bit of help

Can anyone help - I had my assessor this afternoon and I feel a bit down
Thought I had managed to wade my way through all of 402 k and u but she realised she had missed off a few and has lleft me with another long list which include the last 4 k and u of 402.
She told me that I speak like a level 4 but am failing to get it on paper:weepy: were doing quite a lot through profesisonal discussion but I have to do open vidence for these.
Im going off on holiday on Sat and should be looking forward to spending some time with my neglected family but am dreading all the work Ill come back to - I'm starting to wonder if I've bitten off more than I can chew??
Any help as usual gratefully received

Thank you

Hi Sally
Sorry to hear that you are feeling down about the whole thing.
Maybe this holiday is just what you need, Spend time with your family and just relax. buy yourself the cheesiest novel you can find and read that on holiday. Come back totally refreshesed and ready to start the NVQ4 again!!!
Where are you going on holiday? and i hope the weather is better than this.

It is difficult sometimes the way they word things, does your assessor go through the knowledge questions with you?

I'll give some pointers of how i answered the last four questions in unit 402

Will send a personal message

Thanks - yes your'e probably right!
If anyone can help I forgot to put the questions - I've really lost the plot today!
K4D800 - 27 The importance of promoting children’s assertiveness, self confidence and self-esteem to enable them to protect themselves, how to adapt practice for different circumstances and to support Colleagues

K4P801 - 28 Sources of information and personal support for practitioners and settings

K4S1120 - 29 The legislation, guidelines and policies which form the basis for action to safeguard children

Also I think it depend on your'e assessor whether she thinks you put enough info or not

Hugs & I agree, take the time and enjoy your holiday & family ..

As for the work I'd be interested to hear what stranger danger - saying No, being able to walk away and other activities everyones done for helping to empower the children .. whilst at the same time avoiding confrontational & argumentative situations.

Adoption safeguards - abduction and protection from abuse, how you'd keep children in - arrange collection & drop off details have emergency contact numbers and how staff and the children are informed of any new practice changes/introductions alterations to a 'normal working day ...

www.safeguardingchildren.org.uk gives background information that might help.

Have a great holiday & enjoy an ice cream from me
xx
