A new Craft kit (only available as a downloadable at the moment) has been added to the store..
Moondust Fairies & The Wishing Star is aimed at being able to build on exisiting vocabulary skills and to encourage exploration of collaging materials.
As the children are focused on the craft activities you can chat about 'wishes' ~ what a 'wish' could mean, whether it matters if a wish comes true or not and how they can work towards making a wish come true !!
Write what they say inside their wish card & pin it up on your display board !!
Let the children set realistic & imaginative wishes as you talk about attainability.

First star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
I'm hoping that the illustrated images in the craft kit will be used as accompanying pictures to the children's own independent art work.
They can help invite interest from visitors, parents or anyone who happens to be passing by, as they'll give a clear indication of the work you and the children have been doing together ... and fingers crossed will open opportunities for futher communication with other adults
Included in the craft kit is also a selection of 'text boxed questions these will add an interactive element to anyone reading the display.
