Great example .. something I could (will) note for the website

!!
Reflection as a tool for contrast means thinking about things that might have an opposite or contrasting side !
Why the word 'Tool is used is so that readers know that 'Reflection' is being referred to as a means or a way of doing something .. like - 'Seed list could be classed as a tool for horticulture/gardening' because it is used as a reference and guide to base practice from.
It helps you see what's missing and perhaps where there are any gaps to fill !
My Dd sees reflection as a mirror in front of her face or as a reflection on/in water .. whereas I tend to see it as looking backwards.
To see and to know an event that has happened and then to look at it and see what might of / could of happened to make things work in an opposite or contrasting way allows you to then wonder if it'll become better or worse when/should or if it happens again .. looking forwards (projection maybe) is to see things in a forward type action that might be good for making risk assessment easier !
What we say we do .. can be anything - what we actually do might be very different

lol .. but should be what we know is for the good of self & everyone/thing around us & then potentially further !!
Practically and to begin with, could you perhaps list the last few things you thought of or that you said you were going to do and see what happened with them ?
How would you use reflection to see if an idea you'd read on here for example or already done with the children was a good idea or bad one .. how did work in practice - positively or negatively .. how could/would you be able to adapt it to make it more acceptable to everyone ..
Hth

I need a coffee now

lol
