Initiate relationships, ensure every one has a job description, new staff are given a detailed induction training ensuring they know what is expected of them.
2 Through daily chats, one to one sessions etc. Its all about team work keeping communication lines open and being approachable.
3 communication can come in a variety of forms e.g telephone, text, email, verbal. Always being professional and treating each other as individuals and respecting everyone's point of view.
4 Try hard to stick to promises or agreements such as staff one to one as they may need to unburden and will feel let down if you cancel at the last minute
5 In situations of conflict take time out to think of what strategy you wish to take. Stay calm and professional, come in with something positive, then move on to tackling the conflicting situation always staying mutual and try not to take sides, then try to end the meeting with positive feed back
While working with professionals again remain professional, do not become over familiar, call them by invited name, remember your confidentiality policy, get permission before you share info. share only information that is relevant etc
Not sure if this is quite what you are looking for but i hope it helps.

The first thing I have to do is set up a meeting and be observed meeting the national standards re relationships with collegues
Performance criteria
This is the national standard which you must meet:
1. Initiate relationships with colleagues that help them adjust to and develop their roles and responsibilities.
2. Identify and agree with colleagues ways in which you can support each other’s roles and responsibilities to maintain and improve provision to children.
3. Identify and agree how you will communicate with each other
4. Maintain your agreements with colleagues or take the initiative to review arrangements when necessary
5. Work with colleagues to deal with conflict constructively
Then move on and write about working with other professionals.
All of this I know I can do but I just cant get my head around it to get some thing down on paper:weepy:
If anyone can offer me any advice I would be really grateful
Thanks
