We use a mobile which all parents have, but most parents ring the school phone and they then come and give us a message. Parents have also got my home phone number.

landline which takes incoming calls only so costs just over £10.00 per quarter plus mobile for us to make outgoing calls and for parents to use if they wish, often used for text messages when children will be off sick or late arriving. Also useful for outside agencies to contact us when we are closed.
NO ONE has my home number or mobile number except staff, Ofsted and early years advisor's and early years only because I do some occasional jobs for them.

also an email contact for me, currently setting up web site but hotmail at present. Chair, treasurer and a few others have home email address
