Hi a warm welcome to the site. There still isn't a handbook dedicated to this course so your tutor will be expecting to support you with materials, information and a list of recommended places where you can research xx

This thread looks at the criteria https://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?p=62820

You'll need to use your knowledge of the different types of care arrangements so you can see the range of service provision and practices.

Staying with parents (compulsory supervision)
Kinship care
Foster care
Children's homes
Residential schools

Analyse: break the topic down into separate parts and examine each part. Show how the main ideas are related and why they are important.

What services do each of these care arrangements offer. What are the needs and rights of the child or young person, what are the effects of transitions, abuse and discrimination. What reasons would cause a child to be living in any one of these environments and why might they move between them?

Use what happens in your own setting to see the type of transitions children might of experienced before coming to you and why those occurred.

Hope this helps a little, best wishes xx
