Ok, this is what i have.....
Not sure if it's ok though..

I find myself learning new things from the people around me everyday, whether it's while carrying out activities with the children (e,g.. A child initiating a new way to play a game or coming up with an idea i hadn't thought of myself)
or liasing with other professionals or parents/carers.
I feel it's important to recognise new skills and reflect on how this may affect my everyday practice, adapting how i work or what i do, where needed.

You could relate it to the course you are doing saying something such as '.......since starting my course/diploma I am beginning to understand more how children learn and develop as I attend college lectures/classes and listen/learn/interact with the lecturer and students. I follow this up with reading and researching more and I am now relating theory to my practice such as.... then give an example of what you wish to write of Bowlby, Piaget etc and link to an unidentified child in your setting.

You can also write that you learn more about the children you care and educate by sharing information with parents. They have a wealth of information about their child that may help to include in their play or for planning their next steps

It might help if you do a list (even in your head ) of which people you work/deal with/ come into contact with and see if you have learnt anything from them.

This is just a rough guide, but hope it helps get you started.

Thankyou Heidi.. it has helped.. though i don't think i need to go into detail regarding the theorists as this question is just to do with the induction booklet and how my career will progress :-) (professional development etc...)
Thanks for you pointers :-)
