peer obs would be a great way - could you video and look back at it with the person you observed so that they can see things in it too? Sometimes this is really useful. I remember watching myself doing story and songtime and there was a little ASD boy who we thought wasn't tuning in at all, but watching the video we realised he was! It showed me how I could help him to become more involved with him during that time, and what I'd been missing because I was looking at the rest of the children too
