Hi,
FOR 2.3 i was observed doing this outcome from a P.E activity and also the everyday checks you make of the environment your in for example checking the classroom picking things up from the floor, chairs are not sticking out things like that and for 2.4 you need to say why we need space for example you wouldnt allow children to use bikes and trikes in a small area etc as this would be unsafe, and staff ratios for example you would not expect 1 adult to supervise 20 3 years olds as this would put the children at risk you need to write examples of what you do in your setting, you could also mention why more adults are required for off site visits
hope this helps x

Hi,
just write what you do on a daily basis and how your daily practice is keeping the children safe, indoors checking external doors are kept locked are do they have a secure code, making sure no harmful substances are left by cleaners, telling a child their shoe lace is undone, or they are playing too close to the classroom door, the correct way to hold scissors, picking things up that could cause a trip, reporting any broken or sharp edges on equipment and removing them, outdoors check the area is clean from dog or cat mess, litter which may have been thrown over the fence, uneven patio slabs, checking outdoor equipment and removing or reporting any damage cleaning equipment indoor and outdoor on a regular basis, use equipment according to the manufactuers guidelines etc hope it gives you some ideas let me know if you need anything else x

Hi, welcome to silkysteps. Demonstrate is something you might be witnessed doing by your assessor when they visit? evaluating for this means how you'd be checking the environment both inside and outside, using your eyes to look around and your knowledge of what's safe, what isn't and what you might have concerns about.
eg. if there's a sand area outside that children dig and play in how do you know it hasn't been used by cats & dogs?
If there's an easel inside that's been moved to obstruct a door how would you respond?
Your setting may have it's own risk assessment sheets or system for daily checks that you can use for guidance.
Hth, best wishes
