Default 401 K4M763 Good practice values & ethical requirements when liasing with other profes

Hi peeps

I am currently trudging my way through Unit 401 but have hit a brick wall! I am stuck on K4M763 - good practice, values and ethical requirements when liaising with other professionals....

I have been reading the principals and values in the front of the NVQ 4 book and am not sure if these are what I need to list.

If anyone can help I would be very grateful

Good practice, values and ethical requirements when liasing with other professionals

NVQ/SVQ Level 4 Children’s care learning and development
• “Confidentiality procedures – guidelines for sharing information about the setting, children and families
• Partnership with parents policy – ensuring that parents needs and wishes are considered when working with other professionals
• Equal opportunities policy – maintaining the needs of all children as being central to any collaboration with other professionals”

• Ensure everyone knows the roles and responsibilities of each other and outside agencies. This will help everyone know what they are responsible for and what is expected of them
• Ensure good communication and listening skills
• Constructive feedback
• Set targets and goals which everyone agrees with, stick to them and reflect on your own practice and what knowledge you have learned from other professionals
• We need to make sure our values do not lead us to make negative judgements about other people and let them give you their point of view.
