Todays nanny session
Its so wierd cos i know they are still interviewing and i know they are having someone over tomorrow (well i speied the calander haha) but they they also told me in person so least they being honest.
Was a lovely day, sat with them while they had lunch, then me, the mum, dad, 3yr old and 10month old played in the girls bedroom for a while, was good fun. Then the 3ry old and mum went out to shops and a cafe for about an hour to let the baby get used to me and dad only being their. and the baby started to respond to me alot more (he has had major seperation issues) so playing with me and the dad without mum was difficult for him. but he started to give me things, take things from me and i was getting smiles. also dad went out the room for 2 mins to speak to the builder and i got through 4 pages of the book i was reading before baby cried so was good.
then was bout half an hour when baby napped and me and the dad just talked and had some tea. and i agreed with everything he said and basically just repeated everything back to him changing the wording and saying "oh definetly!" every so often!!!
then we got bubs up and mum n 3yr old came home and we al played up stairs a bit more and i showed 3yr old the books id brough for her (the huge "big books" that are meant for teaching a whole class) and she loved them. then was home time.
its hard cos even after just 2 days in a row of seeing the kids im starting to get attached but im telling myself that its likely it wont come to anything as thier probs loads more experienced nannys out thier. more i spend time with them more i like them so its hard in that sence.
just need to wait now
