SomeoneSpecial is on a distinguished road
Default

-allowing the child to make choices-what activity to do, what table to sit at etc
-giving praise when the child has achieved something or is working well independantly
-giving the child tasks then showing how pleased you are
-giving activities which are child led and where you give the child a problem to solve (skinner-scaffolding)
-teaching children about their bodies, whats private, appropriate gestures etc
-challenge children with activities, but ensure they arnt too hard.

its important to ensure their saftey-if a child knows they are in charge of their bodys they are more likely to say no to an abuser or tell someone, healthy relationships/friendships now and in the future, allows child to reach their potential-children need confidence, security etc to learn etc

hope this helps obviously dont just list them for the one above like i have youl have to expand on them
