Hi The Care Standards Act 2000 is legislation that means everyone who is registered and offers care to children, young people and adults needs to work in ways that are lawful and puts in place the National Occupational Standards - these are the minimum requirements the care sector/industry must meet. As The Care Standards Act tells us to work in certain ways our work needs to be inspected to make sure those standards are being met - OFSTED if you're working in england.

If it helps the list of NOS (national occupational standards) for level 2 can be downloaded from the archived CWDC website : http://webarchive.nationalarchives.g...s/ccld-level-2

Page 37 of this handbook or page 66 the level 2 introduction to care book may help

When your tutor gave you the list of criteria, did they also let you know when you'd receive teaching on this?
