Coffee Hi everyone - how are you getting on?

Summer holidays here for me so trying to push my level 3 on as much as I can before september and the start of school/work/uni.
My course is through uni and the college attached. I havent had any work assessed yet and only one observation (due to covid and the rest being cancelled)

How is everyone getting on?

aww that is nice.
I am doing level 3 cache childcare.
The question is "identify three pieces of legislation relevant to childcare practice", and "summarise the implications of health and safety legislation on childcare practice".

I don't understand what the second question is asking me to do. They are so similar. Any ideas on what implication means? :(

If you dont have it I recommend the Early Years Educator Level 3 book by Penny Tassoni
Is it for Unit 2.3 Use legislation relating to the health and safety of children?

So for health and safety I've written about:
Health and Safety at Work Act (1974),
Health and Safety Regulations (First Aid)(1981)
Manual Handling (1992)
RIDDOR (1995)
COSHH (2002
Fire Safety Reform (2005)
Food Hygiene (2006)
Given a brief summary of them and how the influence practice

Childcare Act (2006) Made safeguarding and welfare guidence in the EYFS framework legal requirements. Covers loads like No Smoking, first aid, ratios.

If you start new post with the bits your stuck on I know there will be others to give better advice than I can.

Hi. could you be a bit more specific?
what plan do you mean? what is the question you are doing?
Most common child development theorist are Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson, Bandura, and Bowlby.

Hi, as AAgent78600 says can you expand on your question, which quailifciation is this for and whats the exact question for assignmnet.
I've done unit 3.2 where it asked me for the theorists that influence play and practice. My coursework book has suggested tasks and outlined the specific theorists I need to include (can use other too but must cover those 8)
Happy to help.
Could also ask directly on this forum for more help with a specific titled post.
