Im stuck on this question how to support childrens communication interlectual development and learning in your setting??
This is what i wrote is it correct??
In my setting we support children’s communication, intellectual development and learning through allowing them free play to make their own decisions on what they want to do, also by taking on board any interests they may have and trying to see if we can include them in what where doing, we provide them with a safe and secure environment by making sure there are no hazards around them or removing them if there are any.
I try to develop a close relationship with the children in my care so they always feel they have someone to turn to if they need to talk, also so they feel they can come to me if they are a bit shy so i can work with them to help them play with other children.
In our setting we try to use only age appropriate materials and organise activities to the correct age of the children taking part, as this tends to help build on their confidence and allow us to observe where there at in there development stage.
