2.24/3.6 responding to differences of opnion and conflict constructivley (anyone experienced this?)

Anyone have experience of dealing with other playworkers and having conflict? I haven't so I can't think of anything to write for this!

Hi,
I wouldn't have thought this would be a demonstrate so you wouldn't necessarily have to give examples of what you have done, but think about how you would possibly handle situations and describe for this outcome. It may be that you already do this but on a smaller scale and you don't realise, as everyone has their own opinion which may cause conflict. For example, lines of responsibility - do you feel someone doesn't pull their weight or do what is expected of them? Perhaps one professional has a difference of opinion on behaviour management or what is acceptable for children and you would handle something in a different way to them?

Things to think about if there is conflict includes:
Clarifying the problem - as some issues may arise from opinions and 'gossip' without actually knowing or discussing the issue first.
Consider others views - I'm right, your wrong tends to happen a lot, by talking through the any issues/conflict both sides can learn a lot from each other.
Finding time to talk in a neutral place - being aware of external influences, i.e in front of others. By only having those there that need to be and in a better environment won't seem as intimidating and more likely to encourage a better outcome. Also thinking about how you approach this, would you leave a note or talk face to face?

Hope this help a little
