Default Working With Other Practitioners

I know this is a wee bit cheeky seeing as how this site is for CCLD students, but I wondered if anyone could help me answer this SLTS question, please?

It is one of only two questions I have to answer to complete, so any help would be gratefully recieved, ta! x

"How to judge when you should provide information and/or support yourself and when you should refer the situation to another practitioner?"

What context is this question in? I have no idea what SLTS is?

I notice it says 'support yourself/when should you refer this situation to another practitioner?'

Could this be when you refer (as a key personworker) something to your SENCO, who may then decide that you need to implement early years action?

Or could it be if you suspect any form of child abuse and refer it to your manager?

You could look at it as when you need to refer anything to another - that would be supporting yourself by referring to and/or asking another professional's opinion or help.

STLS - Thanks Doodah - I can't remember or don't now half of the acronyms about these days!
I did guess it was to do with schools though, but couldn't think past HLTA!
