Hi I am really stuck on this question, wonder if anyone had any ideas

K4D916 Approaches, Strategies and guidance to the development of literacy in your home country, how these are implemented within your setting and relate to curriculum framework.

Hi

Firstly you are not being a 'bit slow'...I think sometimes they word the questions to make you feel confused

What you need to think about is answering this in the context of the curriculum and assessment framework you are using witin your setting....EYFS?
Consider how these support the development of the systems that your setting uses to assess children's communication, language and literacy....observations? feedback from other reliable sources...parents? and the children themselves?
Think about how your setting supports the identification and referral of concerns to the appropriate agencies or other professionals.
Good luck..hope this helps a little!

Do you use ACCACS desirable outcomes within your setting, if not, find out what curriculum framework you do use. They usually cover the Six learning area

Language, Literacy and Communication
Personal and Social Development
Mathematical Development
Knowledge and Understanding of the World
Physical Development
Creative Development

you need to home in on the language development

I found if I looked at the question for too long I ended up making it into something so huge it seemed unanswerable!...basically remember to reflect and pull a part why you do what you do....keeping in mind the relevant frameworks....
