I know nothing of your course, but could you head the grid boxes different types of play such as physical (gross motor) physical (fine motor) ict etc?

then the activity name next such as using scooters and bicycles or using paint box on the computer , threading beads and what the key skills they are developing next fron using your EYFS pack - look at what the effective practice is, what you should be providing and the outcome the children are achieving or moving towards.

If you are doing this grid for over fives, you can get the relevant information from the book you are using.

I hope this helps a little or possibly steers you in the right direction.

Default Grids

thanks for your reply. my gids are already headed so i think i can do that bit it was just how to relate it to the current curriculum framework i was stuck on. i thought it might mean weather it was to put what part of the 6 steps of the eyfs learning eg. social emotional or language skills etc .

I'm sure whatever you choose, as long as you show the objective you are aiming for and the learning outcomes can be seen, you are showing you know how to relate and understand what you are putting into practice.

I know staff of mine have had to do various things for their NVQ 4 and they've all done it differently and their assessors have been pleased with their work. I'm certain yours will be as well, as the assessors will understand that settings and individuals see and do things very differently, but are all following and delivering the eyfs.
