Confused and in need of help

My question is that I need to:-

Explain how theories of development and frameworks to support development influence current practices.

Does the question mean how my setting's current practice is influenced or overall?
Would the frameworks refer to the foundation phase as i am based in wales?

I feel silly in asking this but if i cant get my head around the question there is no way i can answer it

how do theories such as vygotsky piaget and bruner and the foundation phase influence what you do on a daily basis. remember explain means lots of examples and lots of connecting theory to practice.
