General question 314

am just putting all my last bits together as have nearly completed my level 3 and just need a bit of help with the following.
can anyone help my to understand how activities for babies and children under the age of 3 can be themed and linked to extend skills knowledge and understanding?
thank for all your help this site is fantastic which i had found it when i was doing my level 2.

if a young child/ren are into bob the builder activities can be themed on this for example a tool bench in the lets pretend area, books about diggers and trucks baby books such as "thats not my digger" which are touchy feely.

for babys it might be themed on things such as animals- you can do animal noises, songs, rhymes, stories, finger games etc or music-shakers, drums etc

basically its asking how doing activities which are themed can help a childs learning, e.g knowing animal sounds develops knowledge of the world, using tools on a toy work bench develops f.m skills

if a child is intrested in something they are more likely to have a positive experiance and learn better-talk bout skinner and positive reinforcement
