Default Unit 3.1 Understand the Value of Play in early years

Hi, I just wondered whether anyone could give me some pointers on qu 4 (unit 3.1) regarding "Understanding different types of play for all children" please. I think I have written far too much in the previous questions and feel like I am about to repeat myself again! Many thanks

Hi welcome to the site.

There is good reading on page 167 - 171 of this level 3 EYE handbook where it looks at physical play - movement and the benefits of constructive play. Creative play, imaginative play, sensory play, what heuristic play is and treasure baskets.

There is also supportive reading in the free publication - Best Play
