what is play
through play children bring together and organise their ideas, feelings, relationships and their physical life, it helps them to use what they know and to make sense of the world and people they meet play brings together
ideas and creativity, feelings, relationships, physical coordination and spiritual development
there are differnent ideas about how to develop play but although there are wide cultural variations all children seem to develop and learn through play including children with disabilities

hope that helps
