Are you using box files? Ring binders? Other? If so, group them into categories (like in our forum), alphabetise these categories, then alphabetise each subcategory - it works for me with my recipes - and I have thousands!! Good Luck!

I have sooo many ring folders it's unbeleivable :sorry: ... but if theres one thing I've learnt it's to double up on paperwork where ever possible .. other wise you can end up cross referencing through piles of them ....

eg - One dedicated policies folder
but duplicate the policies in the enrolements folder
and again in the Op plan .. and any again to accompany other specific areas - Like Prospectus booklets for potential parent/carers

Makes it a nightmare if you update anything (make sure you date everything !!!) .. but for time saving in between I definitely find its worth the while!

I also like coloured Folders and have a nice Pic/writing taped to the folder spines for immediate reference ~ plus that helps to keep Silkysteps, 'Work & Household stuff seperate !!
