Default Explain strategies for early intervention

Hi all,

I need to come up with 3 or 4 more strategies for identifying additional needs, or seeking help for additional need.

So far I have:

Observation and assessment
Monitor and tracking
Working with other professionals
Individual education plans
Statementing

Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Hi, there's staff training, working in partnership with parents and reviewing the environment, the strategies you've listed look good. Remember each can be broken down into more if needed for example the key-person system, the different types of observations, assessments, monitoring abnd tracking systems that your setting in particular has in place.

Page 355 of this handbook is supportive reading and identifying and supporting children with SEND by NASEN.org.uk is good.

Best wishes
