So for short term impacts you need to look at the childs needs not being met, them being put in danger, feeling alone etc.

Long term impacts would be things like, developmental delays, mental health issues, not being able to form positive attachments with others as they have never learnt how, low confidence and self esteem.

You will need to expand on theses and explain them but this should give you a rough idea of what you need to put.
