Today I was in placement and the class teacher let me lead a activity with a group of children, She said I could complete a witness testomony and they she will sign it for me.
Our turor as not said anything about these so i am wondering what do i do? Do I just write what I did in the activity etc?
A witness statement is supposed to be written by the witness eg the teacher!! She needs to know what performance critieria you are covering and write a few lines as to how you achieved them. If YOU write it - it will be a reflective account!
what a lazy supervisor! tell her that cache expect her to write it up as will your assessor. She writes what she saw you do and he view of your practice. And people wonder why NVQs have been abolished! stand your ground and get her to do what she presumably agreed to do when taking a student.
