Hi, being a demonstrate criteria your assessor may expect to come and observe/witness your practice for this in the setting?
You encourage and support children to express their feelings, views and hopes by taking their ideas seriously, listening to what they say, providing relevant information in return and opportunities for them examine and learn about their own and others emotions, moods, empathising and celebrating news. Your attitude, positivity, unbias, non-judgemental approach helps children when they're feeling sad, worrried, upset, during times of conflict and when they're excited about something. The resources your setting has - books, activities, text & imagery around the setting also supports children when they're able to openly discuss and share their feelings, views and hopes.
Hth a little best wishes
