By now, you should have read up on many theories and theorists - so which theory or theorist do you particularly like/agree on, understand more and feel you can relate to as you go about your work with young children?

Do you feel working in a nursery with babies and very young children that you can identify with Bowlby's theory?

Do you feel that working with children from birth to three you can see Piaget's stages of development etc?

Are you particularly interested in outdoor play?

I'm sure if you just think of all the work and studying you have done so far, you will be able to choose which one you either understand better or one that ties into what you think your role is.

I expect you have 'rabbit in headlights' syndrome and can't think pass Bronfebrenner - but there are lots and lots of others. The lecturers just make their example sound so easy don't they? That's because they know their stuff, but if you keep reading, researching and studying - that could be you one day!

The other suggestion I would have is always have your assignment finished on the Saturday before the due date in. This gives you Sunday to proof-read and re-read, adjust, alter or add, check your appendix, first print etc; then if something major crops up, you are still calm and able to attain good grades.
