• good self esteem
• positive identity
• participation in the community

Depending on the age of the children in your setting how would you ensure children know about the choices available to them. What the benefits and possible disadvantages of those choices are?


Supporting children involves listening to them, hearing what they say - their views, opinions, ideas and sharing information with them that's inline with any policies and procedures and wanting the very best outcomes to be realised.
