Default Cache Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools

Help!!!! I'm currently study a Cache level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools, I'm really getting myself in a spin. Does anyone know how i would be best to tackle this question?
E1 Describe ONE (1) national curriculum framework which a
teaching assistant might use to support effective teaching and
learning in a school.
Give information about a curriculum or a framework used in the country where you are studying which a teaching assistant might follow to support effective teaching and learning in a school.

Hi, I would mention that you support effective teaching and learning by following the teacher's plans which will have been made in line with the National Curriculum which was first published in its current form in 1999 . The National Curriculum applies to pupils of compulsory school age in community and foundation schools, including community special schools and foundation special schools, and voluntary aided and voluntary controlled schools. It is organised on the basis of four key stages.

Key stage 1: Ages 5-7 (Years 1-2)

Key stage 2: Ages 7-11 (Years 3-6)

Key stage 3: Ages 11-14 (Years 7-9)

Key stage 4: Ages 14-16 (Years 10-11).

At key stages 1 and 2 the statutory subjects that all pupils must study are art and design, design and technology, English, geography, history, information and communication technology, mathematics, music, physical education and science. Religious education must also be provided at key stages 1 and 2. (more information here : http://curriculum.qcda.gov.uk/key-st...lum/index.aspx).

At my school we also use APP which means Assessing Pupils' Progress. APP is a structured approach to periodically assessing mathematics, science, reading, writing, and speaking and listening so teachers can track pupils' progress from Year 1 through to the end of Year 6 and use diagnostic information about pupils' strengths and weaknesses. Teaching assistants can also be involved in the assessment process eg when they hear children read they can ask certain assessment questions and make a record of the children's responses and ticking off certain required criteria eg pupil can recognise the main characters in a story. (more information here : http://nationalstrategies.standards....ment/app/wiapp)
