Help SOS Theorists project for units 303 and 306

Hi, Im really sorry if this has been asked before but i have searched and cant find what Im looking for.

The third section of my theorists assignment is;
'Examine the sequence of childrens cognitive development stated by theorists Jerome Bruner and Jean Piaget. Include in this project how childrens intellectual development is linked to their understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts. How does this change over time?'

I have researched the theorists, written about schemas, piagets stages of cognitive development and scaffolding but I dont fully understand the next part...could anyone explain it in a different way to how its written?

Its probably really simple but I just cant get it, sorry!!

Thanks
xx
