Default CYP Core 3.7 - 4.2

Can anyone help me with this question please? Compare, giving examples, ways in which services for children take account of and promote equality, diversity and inclusion to promote positive outcomes.

I have stated what I do in my setting (Childminder) and also copied and pasted a policy from a local nursery - so thats the 'compare' part but my tutor is asking for more and I dont have a clue what she wants now? Dont know how I am supposed to compare when Ive never worked in another childcare setting!!!

Help please!!

I'm struggling with this one too - I have just included my setting's equality and inclusion policy stating what it says and how we put it into action in the setting, but I'm struggling with explaining the diversity part and comparing it to other professinals, or organisations...... ?????

Thanks for your reply. My tutor was happy with my explanation of equality/diversity policy, I then included a copy of a local nursery policy and to compare put the following:-

when compared to my equality/diversity/inclusion policy it seems we are working similarly, which is understandable as we are both obliged to work to the EYFS standards. Obviously a nursery will have more staff than my setting and therefore will appoint a designated member of staff to deal with each area of concern, will be able to translate documents etc into other languages and also apply their policy to advertising when appointing staff – all of which I am not able to do in such a small setting as my own.

I am waiting for her to mark this extra paragraph Ive included so I'll let you know if she passes it.

Now Im struggling to start my reflective diary!! All my LO's are under 2 so I dont really plan activities to reflect on, they just play. Its never ending.
