Default Hello everyone, I am new!

Hi there, I am Helen. Mum to 2 boys (almost 10 and 14)
I am a nursery nurse and work in a local playgroup. Our playgroup takes children from their 2nd birthday to the term after they are 3, they then move on to nursery. The playgroup is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and is a Flying Start provision.
I hope to get to know you all soon, I am looking for ideas for craft, outdoor play, indoor activities and anything else that would be suitable for the 2-3 year age group.
Thanks
Helen

Thank-you for all your replys, I think I am going to make myself at home here!
I have been working in childcare for 14 years so hopefully I can share my experiences with you all as well as "borrow" a few ideas off you all too! I have special needs experience also as my youngest son has aspergers.

Default Flying Start

Hi Helen,

I am also a flying start provider, we also do wrap around so our children start at just over two years old up to 4 years old. Just out of curiosity how much do you get paid per child per session. If you feel my question is inappropriate I'll understand if you don't want to answer it

Hi Helen

I work at a pre-school as well. We take children from 2 until they go to School.

This is a great site to get help and inspiration
