Default my answer to k3m333 is this ok?

Children can benefit from a multi-disciplinary approach to their education.
A Multi-professional approach is recognaised as the best way for children to be supported where there are concerns of abuse or actual abuse, This also described the way in which adults who perform different job roles within different organisation work together to protect children, for example Nursery workers look after a child development and learning experiences where as a Health vistor may look after a child physical health and growth but both can work closely together in order to support a child who may experience child abuse, both can support for a family.
Mutual respect is hugely important for the benefit of both practitioners and children, as an early years practitioner you may work alongside
Teachers
Early years workers
Other childcare workers
Social workers
Police officers ( with special training)
Hospital child protection officers
Childs GP
Probation officers
Education welfare officer
Health vistor
School nurse
Special educational needs coordinators
Play specialists

Other professional are there not only to help families and children but also early childcare workers, for example if you find yourself looking after a child who may have been abused, this can cause you distress in such cases you are not allowed to talk to anyone regarding a child case Who " does not need to know" however you can talk to your supervisor you may be able to put you in touch with organistions such as NSPCC who can offer help and counciling.
