Help SOS tech cert 009

tech cert task 009

This asks to make an activity plan which will encourage a child young persons self esteem and confidence. Explain how self esteem influences learning and how a childcare practitioner and influence self confidence
If anyone has got any ideas on this one the help would be much apprciated, i have two weeks to complete rest of my course and have about a quarter left to do and am having a bit of a blank moment. Any starters would be good and thanks in advance.

Hi, any activity that the child enjoys & you know they are able to do from your previous observations will raise their self esteem and confidence if they are praised for what they are doing and encouraged to try the next step. they gain confidence when they acheive something and that helps them to feel good about themselves and so raises their self esteem.
if you do an activity that celebrates a particular culture then the children in your care from that background will feel good about themselves and proud of their culture, this is fab for self esteem, especially if they are older and are able to discuss their experiences with the other children.
